Our registration policy is designed to welcome and accommodate children from all backgrounds and communities. We support children and families with English as an additional language (EAL) by incorporating our diverse knowledge of different languages and alternate ways of communicating when needed. We pride ourselves on our inclusion policies & procedures. Our ethical approach to inclusion is embedded throughout the nursery and forms part of our Ethos.
We ensure that your child settles in and builds their confidence in communicating with their peers and staff. We do this by incorporating dual story books and slowly introduce key words throughout the day. We give your child choices by using real-life objects and asking them to pick which activity they would like to do or have e.g. which toys/snacks/activity.
We are also accredited to run the Early talk boast (ICAN) programme which gives your child the opportunity to build and strengthen their communication and language skills with other children in our nursery.
