Free Early Education (FEE) funded hours for 9 months+ to 2 year olds
Eligible children aged 9 months to 2 years may attend nursery, subject to conditions, for up to 30 hours per week of Free Early Education (FEE) funded childcare for 38 weeks per year (term time).
These funded hours are free of charge and allocated in line with availability.

Free Early Education (FEE) funded hours for 3 and 4 year olds
All three and four year old children are entitled to up to 15 hours per week of Free Early Education (FEE) funded childcare for 38 weeks per year (term time).
These hours are free of charge and are available from the term after your child’s third birthday, subject to conditions and availability.
30 Hours Free Early Education (FEE) for 3 and 4 year olds
Up to 30 hours of free childcare for working parents.
All eligible three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of Free Early Education (FEE) for the equivalent of 38 weeks per year from the term after their third birthday.
Eligible working parents may be able to access an additional 15 funded hours, bringing the total to 30 hours per week.
Please note that if your employment status changes, you may lose eligibility for the additional 15 hours.
